Anti-David Seago flier
Apparently someone out there T-town is not a fan of The News Tribune's editorial page editor David Seago. A flier tacked on the side of a utility box says it all.

The decent sized proclamation sits at the intersection of S. Steele and Idaho, just out of the back exit from Costco and is easily readable in plain sight. I wonder what the guy did to deserve this kind of xerox'd publication? I wonder where else more of these might be posted? I wonder when local bloggers may get "big" enough to merit such taunting? One can only dream...

Tres bizarre! That's an interesting spot for a poster too. But you would think they could have written a letter to the editor...

So to speak, that IS a letter to the editor.

To quote someone else who said there is no such thing as bad publicity, "I don't care what they say about me as long as they spell my name right."
It's better than being a 1-cent hack, I guess.

Very true Dave. Could've been a far more inflammatory message.
I wonder if it's just some guerrilla marketing campaign on behalf of the News Tribune they hoped would get picked up by local blogs. ;)

One of these posters is pasted to the side of a TNT newspaper box down by City Hall as well. At least Dave has a good sense of humor about the whole thing...

Quick! Someone grab it and save it for me! I really, really want it for Dave's retirement party! :) A cash reward! 253-468-7489.

The person who took the time to make this poster has NEVER had to create and publish a reliable, public product every day of the year for years at a time. And the person who took the time to create this poster hasn't taken the time to know David Seago, who struggles to understand every subject he editorializes.

Found another one just outside Old Town:

Wow. That's a lot of effort to go to. I wonder if it's one of the Trib's serial commenters? A couple of them really seem to have come just a little unhinged.

More people should express themselves this way. Dang funny.
