I did the Valley in early April two years ago - even that early the temperature was at 100 degrees - still a great escape from the NW, especially driving down the Eastside.

Is that a fisheye lens? Me thinks so. I have been wanting to try one on my camera for quite some time. Great photos Kev. I really like the stars.

@Gav: Borrowing a fisheye from a co-worker and it's a blast. Plenty more where that came from as well. Hope to post more once home tonight (after game night that is).
@Doug: I was completely floored with Death Valley. I will be back to aimlessly wander more someday soon.
