Happy 1st Birthday FeedTacoma!
Yea, I know it's a bit like wishing it to myself but it's more a shout-out to the others that have helped make the site possible. One year to the day since official launch and FeedTacoma.com has grown. I posted a bit of a "State of FeedTacoma" with other related stats, and some fun screenshots showing the site's progression. More than anything else for me behind the programming and promoting of the site, I'm excited about what the site provides for folks in the area. People can hit one spot online to get volumes of info and local perspective. At the same time, FeedTacoma gives an equal voice to 24 local bloggers all with great things to share.
Hopefully I can't say it enough but thanks to all the contributors and to everyone who uses the site to get their Tacoma fix. I have lots of fun things planned and more collaborations to create but please do tell me what you think anytime over in the FeedTacoma forums or by emailing me.

Congrats Kevin. FeedTacoma is one of my first stops of the day and again at the end of the day. It has also been a great site for sharing my Tacoma related blog postings. Fourteen percent of the referrals to my site have been through FeedTacoma and I venture I must connect to others in the South Sound through the feed at an even higher percentage than that. Thanks.

This is so great Kevin! Happy Birthday Feed Tacoma! Such a great concept that has turned into a wonderful place online! It truly is my first stop online everyday and I find myself here all day long. Thank you for all the work you do (even though I know you secretly love it!)

Feed Tacoma has certainly spurred Tacoma to have an incredibly strong blogging community which hits things from alot of different angles.

And beyond fostering a blogging community, it has been an invaluable resource for showing off what is and has been happening in the community at large. Thanks for putting it together, Kevin.

You are obviously doing something you enjoy - congrats - our community is better for it. And so you know, people use Feed>Tacoma. We've had several people through our gallery that have said they saw it on Feed>Tacoma (especially the night of the fire dancers). Thanks for the support!

Absolutely, Congratulations, Kevin. I read the Feed in the morning before work and in the evening after. I've learned photography, restaurants, political situations and local charm of your own family. You've made me feel part of this community of Tacoma.
Thank you and well done.

others offered the opportunity to include me as cartoonist on their websites, but Kevin was the first to offer me complete freedom to explore the darker sides of my personality.
The power of inclusion is verily an amazing thing. Even so, the beast of political awareness has awakened within me as I am forced to pay attention to Tacoma related political events--which hopefully will rub into other people, outsiders & the great sleeping masses.
Thus and so, I raise my cold slice of left-over pepperoni&pineapple puget sound pizza in salute of Kevin, feed Tacoma and the greater electronic community.
Long live the new flesh!
