Happy Thanksgiving!

As I wait for an afternoon of meals at multiple houses I just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to anyone passing by. We had a safe and clear drive down south to Vancouver with touches of fog stretching the early morning Sun's rays into view. I'd say I'm thankful for the sunshine but it translates to a lack of snow in the mountains for, uh, our future water supply. <cough>snowboarding!</cough> I'm definitely thankful for the companionship and love of my beautiful wife, our amazing friends, family, and for all the people that make Tacoma a great place to live and work. I'm always thankful to live in the Pacific Northwest and Tacoma in particular has proven to be a true gem among greats.

Happy Thanksgiving from Scotland! Hope you have fun with the whole family! We're sorry we won't be there for the festivities, but I'm sure no will miss us trying to foist Tofurkey on everyone.

I am thankful for the love and support of my fabulous husband, thankful for my wonderful family, and thankful for our dear friends that have helped make Scotland our home. I am also thankful that I am healthy and have a good job.

We are celebrating with friends on Saturday (don't get Thanksgiving as a holiday here, go figure) and will be making pumpkin flan for a variation on an old favourite. Have a great holiday weekend everyone!
