OMGWTFBBQ?!!1!1! That's right, an email promotion from downtown Tacoma's Varsity Grill announced an event of momentous monumentalisness. What happened to my normal gooditude with the English language, you ask? Well, ladies and gentlemen, consider it Pickler'd. That's right, American Idol no-go Kellie ("SAL-mon") Pickler is here in Tacoma and her fame and fortune got her top billing with a lunchtime spot in the upstairs area of Varsity Grill. Heck, if you send an email now, you may be among the lucky first 100 to get in free!

Yea? Not so good? I'm not a country fan but if she's willing to slog it to Tacoma we ought to give her our props -- or at least use it as an excuse to grab some of Varsity's mac 'n cheese bites. Mmm...

Got me a ticket voucher in my email but, lo, doesn't look like my office will be dining at Varsity for our staff lunch. I guess my brush with fame will have to wait. Come back soon, Kellie!
