Photos ~ Northwest Trek office outing

Our office was treated to an outing at Northwest Trek last Friday morning. Since we did a rush job for them they thanked us by offering up a hayride keeper tour of the park. It was a bit early for a field trip but we all met up out there around 7:30am. We were trucked around in an open truck on cushy seats through out the park's winding paths. One can normally see this side of the park on their tram tours but you're with lots of other smelly people in an enclosed tram with no keeper setting out food for the animals.

We saw tons of the park's big game animals which doesn't normally happen on a single feeding run. Fortunately for us we also avoided all the strange downpours we seem to be having recently.

Thanks to Trek for the tour and, if you've never been, head out there when they open some morning. It's the best time since that's when all the animals are happily fed and not in the heat of the day.
