Photos ~ Broadway Farmers' Market
Had a chance to Link over to the Broadway Farmers' Market yesterday. The weather was a little ADHD with peeks of warm sunshine but otherwise cloudy with a downright chilly breeze. We wandered the market and made a vow next week to bring a canvas bag or two and buy some starts for our veggie garden. We wandered through the Local Living Lounge where we had a chat with TacomaMama about the success of her bubble bin, spied Patricia urging folks to Go Local, and saw Whitney planting the seeds of growing local in people's minds. Some live folk music filled the air as we grabbed some lunch then headed back to the grind in the office.
Don't know if it's the weather but the market seemed to be hoppin' with visitors but also with more of a variety of vendors. Let's hope this keeps up here, in Proctor, and in the upcoming new 6th Ave market.
