Photos ~ Cliff Colon at Jazzbones

It felt good to get out and hear some music last night. Cliff Colon and his drum and bass funk crew did wonders for my ears. Everyone in the group was right on but their drummer was all over it. He brought up beats I never thought one man could spit out on a set. Everyone on stage had a great time and the crowd of six eventually morphed into a handful more as the night went on. It was great chatting a bit with Cliff and Sommer and hopefully this is a trend that'll continue. I miss hearing Cliff do what he does best and hope these guys will get together more.

Since the pic I posted Wednesday wasn't the most flattering (albeit freakin' hilarious) I figure I should put up some shots I grabbed from last night to attone for my mischief. Enjoy!

OH yeah. Need to get me an indoor lens. My buddy just got a nice 35mm f/2.0 lense and I'm so all about grabbing one. It wasn't too bad last night overall but that 1600 ISO saved my butt.

I usually use a 50mm 1.4, but with digital, the crop makes it more like 75mm. It's awesome with film though.
