Photos ~ Bad Colby on a high window sill
Sometimes our kitty Colby has delusions that he's a panther that lives among the canopy of a rain forest. The boy likes to be high. Sometimes, however, his rather, how should I say, full-figured body doesn't always afford him the hops it takes to get himself into thinner air. This morning was a different story after I opened up our bathroom window. I left the room while brushing my teeth and simultaneously making the bed (I know, so very talented) only for a minute and came back to find big Colby on a very little window sill. Feline courage must stem from that whole 9 lives attribute but it comes in waves as sometimes he doesn't have the juevos and, like this morning, he forgets that little surgery he had and just leaps that big bum of his up there anyway. I commend his spirit and give him props just long enough to capture a few incriminating photos then lift him back to terra firma. What a goon!

That last photo is too darn cute. "But look, aren't I clever for getting up here? Don't you just want to swoop me up because I'm so adorable?"

He's normally a pretty mellow kitty but he sure does know how/when to turn on his Nuclear Cute Engine (TM). He is a bit of a tub, though, and preferred being helped down to THUMP!ing down on his own.
