I was "googling" kinnaird castle because my mother was born there. I found your photos. They are beautiful. I visited Kinnaird 3 years ago but only for about an hour and my photos are nothing like yours. Do you have a connection to the castle? I would really like to know if you stayed there etc. I know it sounds like I'm just curious and I am but I am desperate to know more about Kinnaird. Hope to hear from you. Carole Chapman

Hi Carole, thanks for sharing! I don't have any connection to Kinnaird but stayed there for the Easter weekend this year with my sister, her husband and friends. I visited her in Edinburgh for a month but I think it's safe to say we all fell in love with Kinnaird and the grounds.

I don't know much more than that but there was a nice book they had there with some of the history of the place. Turns out it was burned down in the early 1900s and some bits are still being slowly re-built.

Hi there! I just stumbled upon your album as I was researching for Kinnaird Castle. I'm going to be staying there for 3 nights straight after the new years to celebrate my birthday with 9 other friends. I was wondering if you could give any tips on activities and things to do in the area as your photo's are wonderful and you seem to have had a fab time! I hope my time there will be as great!

I was primarily wondering whether there are things to do on the estate and nearby in terms of tourism or just relaxing. I've never been to scotland and my friends havent been to Angus before. Also, we are desperately trying to find a nice place to have dinner for my birthday itself. Would you have any particular suggestions?

Thank you for your help in advance and I hope to hear from you!.

Cheers
Yuki
