Yesterday marked the first King's Books Wayzgoose I've been able to attend during my tenure here in T-town. I started by observing my friends/members of CLAW press out their massive poster via steamroller. Though they forgot to carve their image in reverse (said Stowe: "We're illustrators, not printmakers!") it looked fantastic. Inside the bookstore a crowd of excited people stopped by all the tables of various local printmakers and letterpress pros. Nearly every one had a keepsake you could create and take home but the only line I stood in was the one to roll out a special edition Beautiful Angle poster.
Great to see everyone and thanks for putting on such a fascinating and hands-on event!

It was packed! I'm glad this event is so well-known in Tacoma. I'm planning to hang my new Beautiful Angle poster next to the poster they offered at the 2006 Wayzgoose. Somehow, I managed to get ink smudges on both!
