Photos ~ Woofstock 2008

Sunday I had the pleasure of heading to this year's Woofstock over on the UPS campus with Ensie, Frinklin and their Jeffrey who was a very good boy for our outing. The outdoor pet adoption and music fest had a great energy about it with tons of happy owners strolling about mingling and having a look at all the booths. I was particularly taken with the WA Alaskan Malamute Adoption League where I got to meet a beautiful young lady malamute and learn about the care this group takes in placing these dogs in great foster and adoptive homes. Admittedly, I'm not nearly as much a dog person as a cat person, but this particular kind is one I know I could love. I've always looked at malamutes as the kind of companion I might someday want to add to my life and from what these nice folks tell me I wouldn't be sorry for it. I don't have any immediate plans but I certainly have their card on hand.
