Pink elephant gets new clothes
Sometimes an elephant is pink and sometimes it's really pink. Walking from work toward downtown Tacoma I today I noticed a painter touching up one of our city's favorite signs. Since the pink elephant on the sign isn't exactly a big rectangle wall, this guy was using small brushes and strokes to fill in and re-touch the welcoming sign on Pacific Ave. It's not too often you see such crafty work but it was refreshing to know that not every ad out there is created and manufactured by some evil, faceless corporation.
Enjoy your new face, Pink Elephant! May your day glow hue never fade.
Speaking of Pink, Sarah sent me an impressive video of Pink sining a pretty wrenching song about abuse of power. Watch the video of Dear Mr. President ยป
