Reporting sick from home
I headed out of the office an hour or so early yesterday since I felt kinda' crummy all day. I was feeling pretty icky from my hips up and woke up this morning with all but the aches that got to me last night. Not desiring to spread this any further at my place of work I stayed home sick today and made sure to lay low and let this pass the best I could. I did accomplish a few minor work-related tasks but kept things there to a minimum. I planned to take this Friday off to get a few wedding-related things done but instead did so with the down time I had today.
On that note, thing are getting closer and closer to being "Go" for launch next Saturday(!). We're ticking off items on our wedding "To do" list. Just this morning we filled out our wedding license paperwork, had our signatures notarized, then sent it back to Skamania County for their approval. I whiddled away a few more details of the ceremony and got some other bits and pieces accomplished. I'm finishing up my vows but Sarah informed me I can't post them here for comments and suggestions. She's a pretty tech savvy lady but just wouldn't let me turn this into a community vow blog.
In other news, Matt's helping put together what's shaping up to be a fantastic bachelor party up at Aaron's family's spot at the infamous Lake Merwin Camper's Hideaway. I'm really looking forward to the weekend... From there: my sister arrives, we finish everything, keep our eyes on the weather forecast, get married then head to Costa Rica -- ALL NEXT WEEK!

hey kev,
i hope u had a great bachelor party/weekend. sounds like it would be a good time.... also enjoy this entire week. it'll fly by.
i wanted to get ahold of you via email, but the link below kicks the email right back to me. i wanted to give you a couple links i found interesting while browsing around. lots of them come from slashdot.com... including the following: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/01/08/web_surveillance_cams_open_to_all/ this link shows how one can google to gain access into peoples' webcams, sometimes allowing a person to control the camera's view. what one can find on the internet.
again... enjoy the week. hope to hear all about it when you get back from costa rica!

dear Kevin,
remember, what goes on at the Hideaway stays at the Hideaway. And if its your first time at the hideaway....you have to hide.
