Shakespeare in the Parking Lot 7/27, 8/5
An article in the Trib pointed me to what could be some great Shakespeare performed by a local troop. Shakespeare in the Parking Lot, as they are called, will be performing at Kings Books July 27 @ 5:30pm and at the Proctor Arts Festival August 5. The group will also perform at Celebrate Tacoma August 12 and 13 on the UW Tacoma steps. Audience members there will get a behind-the-scenes view as actors put on their makeup and rehearse before the real show begins. The shows are all free (donations are welcome tho) so get out there and experience Shakespeare by a local group of starving actors trying to make a point. I'm sure it'll be a good time whether you understand the plays or not.
