Photos ~ Snowy BBQ & Rock Band
Last night we planned to head over to Aaron's place for BBQ'd buffalo burgers and beer soaked brats followed by some Rock Band. All week the weather called for a bit of chill and the possibility of snow. In late April? Well, I imagined as the week progressed that forecast would change but it didn't and snow it did. While my "little grill that could" heated up, gusts of wind blew snow through the air. Nothing stuck around here but we heard a rare emergency broadcast over the radio concerning a possible 10" of snow in Snohomish county to the north.
Angela and Steve joined Sarah, Aaron and I for dinner but first helped get some extra charcoal for the grill. Once I finally managed to get the burgers cooked (after the attempted thwarting by wind, snow, lack of coal) we enjoyed everything back inside where it was warm. Though the Ferguson's brought dessert we instead took our full bellies upstairs to play Rock Band. This was everyone but Aaron's first time. Sarah and Steve valiently strapped on their axes and I shoved the mic in my face (Aaron on the drums) and away we went. I belted my way through Nirvana, Radiohead, some Metallica I didn't know, and a bunch of other songs. The game is a riot and definitely a fun way to spend an evening. We'll definitely go on tour again (apparently as the newly coined "Freidiohead"). Thanks to Aaron for letting us rock out in his attic. Everyone should give that game a go. I'm sure for some a drink or two would help loosen you up first.

Hey Gang! Good news, the manager from the Foo Fighters just called and begged me to go on tour with them. They said they needed a mature figure to calm the rest of the band down. Sadly I had to turn down the offer due to my dedication to freitohead. Until next time.
