Spring 2K

I'm here in Rieke's Leraas lecture hall on break from my 8am physics class and I just wanted to remind everyone that Spring is upon us. Before my alarm went off around 6:50am-ish I woke up for no apparent reason. It was 6:15am and through our blinded window shown a dull blue light of the morning. Only now does is the Earth in such a position in it's orbit around the Sun that Hong hall room B18 can actually recieves light from that source a mere 93 million miles away.

After readying myself for the day ahead, a short walk to the University Center mess hall with a friend reveals the candy pink blossoms on a nearby tree already giving pedals up to gravity and randomly spreading themselves on the grass and asphalt below. This and the smell of freshly severed grass as I walk from food to the science building here, where I sit and imagine what can only lie ahead this Spring season. All these things lift my spirit toward the near future because all these things, to me, are Spring.
