Tacoma's Fall Colors ~ South Tyler and Snake Lake
Color was everywhere along Union near UPS but we eventually moved on toward South Tyler and Snake Lake. Here we found one particular tree along the road just bursting with color. It sits alone at one of the entries to Foss High but was well worth pulling over for.
Just across the street is Snake Lake. I'd never previously stopped in the area but noticed it far too many times when we used to frequent the local Fred Meyer. Learning about the multiple miles of trail in the park impressed me but today we'd only take a leisurely stroll in search of some seasonal color. There were some good shots along the trail itself but little fall foliage hanging over the lake. Nevertheless, it was great to tread here a bit and Snake Lake has a new place in my mind's reality -- Which means I'll probably drop by again sometime. ;)

Those pictures are just great. I took the liberty of downloading some of the red tree pictures to put them on the desktop. I love autumn colors, maybe because my birthday is in October. It’s the only season that makes us appreciate the art of nature. Beautiful indeed!
