Tacoma Film Festival submissions due Aug. 17
Received via email:
Are you a filmmaker who wants to show your work to Tacoma? If so, we are accepting submissions for inclusion in the 2nd Tacoma Film Festival.
The festival itself will be October 4-11 at various locations in downtown Tacoma. Centered at the Grand Cinema, we will have hundreds of entries from all over the world but we would like to be able to promote as many NW films as possible. We currently have submissions from local filmmakers as well as from Canada, Japan, India, Australia & Japan.
The submission fees for the TFF vary depending on the date films are submitted. The first (and least expensive) deadline is coming up on July 7. Films submitted by that date have a submission fee from $25 to $40 depending on the length of the film. Any films postmarked past the final August 17 deadline will not be considered. Multiple submissions are welcome as long as fees are paid for each submission.
For more information, please visit our official website at www.tacomafilmfestival.com. You can also email the Grand Cinema, the hosting organization for the festival.
Hopefully some of the local talent will represent. Anyone planning to submit a film? I know at least one film I'd like to see in the running.
