Tacoma Photo Gang - 5 Mile Drive
On Saturday I joined the Tacoma Photo Gang on a photoroll at Point Defiance Park's 5 Mile Drive. As if clandestine operatives we all met by the statue of Francis Cushman. Brooks was there along with five new faces. We parked at the top of the lot at Owens Beach then met up with the road just above. We had no particular target for our photos in mind just that the drive is closed off to vehicle traffic until 1pm. We snapped shots of leaves, bugs, each other, spider webs, you name it!
Thanks for the outing idea Brooks and anyone can feel free to join us at our photo show 'n tell Beans & Seens tonight at 7pm at Firehouse Coffee over on 6th and Union.

Very nice shots. Some of these things I didn't even see. I think everyone got a shot of the broken glass, and I didn't even notice it. The things you miss when lost in your own world.

Nice Shots Kev! As always some great creative angles. I really liked the longer exposure where you spun while looking up and the BUM made me laugh. I think I was also seeing some of that 35mm f2.0 amazing depth of field goodness. How is that lens treating you?

I just heard there is a community meeting about the little girl that was snatched on July 4th. Does anytone know where? Check this website and you will be freaked out by the number of sex offenders in town. It's free and gives pix of offender/crime.http://www.familywatchdog.us
