Real or fake? Tacoma SWAT bust fake robbery

Ran across the following video via an entry on the Tacoma LiveJournal group and find it pretty amusing. From the looks of it, an indie film crew was shooting a robbery scene in a local building when someone called the TPD. What do you think: Real, fake or staged to get some pretty great footage? See for yourself:

[video removed as requested by representative from Bates]

If you give a listen through headphones it seems to me like everyone "on set" is actually pretty scared by the presence of the SWAT having them surrounded. When the police enter someone on the crew told them they had checked with and notified the right people to film. As for location, a shot through some horizontal blinds of the supposed guy who called the cops shows a familiar building that I can't quite put my finger on. Sarah thinks it's across from the Rainier Pacific Bank on 12th and Pearl. Thanks Jamie (see comment below) for pointing out this is on South Union near the Jones Animal Hospital. When asked by the TPD officer what the movie is for multiple sounded like they said "Base Bates".

Seems like the whole thing was a mix-up but a potentially scary and dangerous one at that. My only hope is that the TPD and SWAT didn't have anything better to do that day. As one comment on the original post says, I wonder if they got a ticket?

A shot out the window early on shows Jones Animal Hostpital, which I think is on South Union near the TPU headquarters...

Also, I think they said "Bates", not "Base".

Sort of amusing, though I felt a lack of resolution. Did they get ticketed? Did they get to keep filming?

If the second picture were of better quality than I would have said it was not real. Taking into consideration that it has a poor quality it is surely a fake one. They do not put good pictures under question.
