Three entries for the price of one

Gavin's still working as a tech at CompUSA. Crap! This is a guy who worked hard in college to not only excel in his school work but he also held a long-standing (and now nearly permanent) relationship through most of it and participated in music groups and supervised younger PLU students as their residential hall supervisor. One thing I've learned about Gavin is he's never really ready to rush anything. That guy has a certain knack for maintaining a steady pace in life while constantly angling for opportunities that could contribute to bettering it. He's proposed to his long-time girlfriend Holly and is striving for establishing the beginnings of his career. That's where I come in. Sure I'm his friend but we're soon both going to attempt to make it just a little bit more than a friendship...

We're going to make it a partnership -- a business partnership! What'd you think I was going to say? Anyway, we've been kicking around an idea for a small business that we both think could be a real solid success given our skills and what will probably turn out to be rather low start-up costs. The last week has seen a surge in our excitement for this soon-to-be company and my hopes are that it won't soon slow down. We both currently have other jobs but I think starting our own business now is a good opportunity for us to just try it out. Once the papers are signed and the business cards are printed (as well as some other things on our company to-do list) we'll be ready to tackle running a small business in our spare time. Although that time seems precious we're both willing to press ourselves a bit further to see if our idea can sprout wings. Heck, we already have women who love us! As long as that remains the same we'll be able give this a go.

What's the company? If I were to tell you that, I'd have to throw a metal lock over your mouth (see Beetlejuice) only to release it once a few things are legal. If you want any details or would like to participate in our prospective company survey, contact me.

In other news, there's a new addition that's soon join my family of digital cameras. Actually, it's more like a legacy considering the two other members of that family area dead. On Sunday I ordered a new Fujifilm digital camera and expect it to land on my doorstep within the week. Like the proverbial stork, the FedEx man will deliver my new little bundle of joy and I shall unwrap it and cradle it in my arms. Then I'll probably take multiple thousands of pictures with it until it gives out and I have to buy a new one. The personal digital photo count is well past the 23,000 mark with those numbers soon to take a sharp uphill turn. With its arrival gone will be the lulls this website experiences between dead digital cameras and we'll be back online with visions from the eye of Yours Truly.

Oh yeah, and we watched A Beautiful Mind tonight. Not bad -- not incredible -- but not bad.
