Today's Weather Report: Don't blink

It's days like this that make me feel like I truly live in the great Northwest. The weather outside is of such a caliber that no ten minute slot of time serves up the same conditions. The bands of clouds that have intermittently brought sheets of rain from above are cruising overhead like they're late for some very important date somewhere off to the east. Something's got to move them that fast and that's definitely the wind. Although not of gale force, there is a brisk breeze that whispers secrets of a nearly past winter in the ears (and in the goosebumps) of people caught in it. The greatest part of today's weather has to be the stuff that comes in between the bands of cruising clouds—blue sky. Huge patches of clear sky let the Sun show through after swaths of rain bearing clouds hurry off. Spring is definitely here and I say this only because the Sun that does have a chance to make it to me is absorbed into my navy blue, long-sleeve shirt. This absorption produces a slight warmth that just isn't present in the light of a winter Sun.

School's almost out for mid-semester (Spring) break and I can't wait. Today I took a Computer Information Systems (learn Word, Excel, and Access class) mid-term and came out unscathed. This is great especially considering that I did a total of about five-and-a-half minutes of studying for it during a break in my physics class before it. I also just returned from a physics lab exam that was all of four questions that didn't really phase me. Although slightly unsure about one of the questions, I just talked with my lab partner who confirmed my hunch about it. So, I'm in good standing with those tests and now have only to attend jazz choir tonight and skip igneous petrology class tomorrow before my Spring Break begins.

Wish me luck tomorrow! I'm driving up to Seattle to take my poor, ailing digital camera to a store which can service it in-house. I've no idea what to expect from a place like this because I've never owned a digital camera before this one let alone have to fix a broken one. We'll see what they say. Hopefully they can fix it (so you can look forward to these photographic glimpses into my life) and hopefully they won't ask for my entire savings account to do so.
