Two Koi grand opening celebration
Tacoma's new Japanese fusion cuisine and sushi spot downtown is having its grand opening this Thurs, 10/26. Two Koi will have a ribbon cutting by the Tacoma Chamber around 4pm on the lawn in front of the restaurant with a complimentary saki toast and other tasty food samples. A grand opening/fund raising dinner will be served from 5-10pm and will feature a simple "A, B, or C" menu priced at $10, $15, and $20 respectively. Half the price of every meal will be donated to the Cancer Society who are also neighbors just upstairs from Two Koi. I'll definitely be there after having a great experience when they had their soft opening last month. There's no invitation necessary so come out for some great food, celebrate a new downtown business, and do it all for a good cause.
Can't get to dinner before the Link stops running at 8 o'clock? Park in the nearby convention center lot "C" -- it's free for Two Koi customers!

I have been to Two Koi a few times now. I recommend it highly. They have taken the time to get the staff more and more prepared for a larger amount of business.
Cross 21 Commerce with Fujiya and you get Two Koi.
If someone is looking for a way to "activate" Tollefson Plaza, this is the way: have successful restaurants and businesses border the Plaza. Don't forget to look in the art shop next door.
See everyone there!
