Uneventful and loving it

Life at home has been going uneventfully well for me this Holiday season. The family all got together at our favorite Italian food restaurant last night to celebrate my mom's Birthday. Good food was had by all and I think my mom enjoyed her gifts. Now although I'm a poor and soon-to-be-traveling college student, I promised to bring her something back from Hawaii. Plus, I granted her unlimited Solitare time on Li'l Shefa.

Yes, my trip to Hawaii will begin in now less than a week and I couldn't be more delighted! Using my newly umwrapped GPS device, I already know how far I'll be from home, how far I'll be from Sarah, and will hopefully be able to clock the airplane we fly in on the way there. Trivial little details but they make my content. Unfortunately for the faithful readers in the audience the month of January will be relatively bare when entries to this site are concerned. My hiatus will not likely permit me to keep you informed on how the color of my skin tints slightly darker or how my shoe caught on fire when we stepped in the lava. I will, however, be typing up pages on my handheld computer for immediate posting upon my return to the continental United States.
