A patient purchase

I made a trip with Sarah and a couple of her co-workers and family up to Fry's in Renton, WA to help advise on one of their computer purchases. I had a great time wandering through the store and dispensing ample gobs of advice to help guide a new PC purchase. I'm proud to say that, despite some nice boxed solutions, she decided to go the route of building her own Shuttle PC not unlike my own.

But, wait, what's this?! A copy of Unreal Tournament 2004 seems to have found its way into my hands and... I'm at the checkout counter paying for it. How strange are the ways of the world that this would happen to me. OK, OK. I've been holding off on purchasing this game and playing its demo's level over and over. Some recent freelance work has rangled my evenings and I've kept it up despite a perennial yerning to slack off and play games. :) Since one of the projects concluded this weekend I decided (with Sarah's blessing, of course) it was time. Although taking up a massive 5.5 gig on my hard drive and being a bit slow to load, it is worth it. Can't wait to sink my teeth into some multiplayer with my buddies.
