Video & Photos ~ Oh Voices on KUPS

Last night I had a chance to sit in the KUPS studio with Oh Voices. Space was at a premium with the three band members, a couple of their friends, two DJs and I crammed in there. The group was doing an on-air performance for the Local Show hosted by Molly and Epiphany. Oh Voices played four songs throughout the night all with weaving melodies, crystal clear vocals, and a sound that just plain makes me happy there are local musicians and bands here in Tacoma. Hear and see for yourself:

The group will be around town with upcoming gigs at Origin 23 this Saturday, at the Viaduct on the 15th, and also performing at First Night.

KUPS (or 'cups' as I like to call it) is a great college radio station. KUPS is the reason we have a radio in our art studio. Long live the video game music!

Very cool. The band endears itself to me by having a song with the title the same as a Jeffrey Brown book - "Be a Man!"
