Virtual neglect
It's been quite a while since I've taken the time to pour my thoughts out here on the ol' webpage. Things are going very well. Lately I've been choraled into snapping photos for PLU's student newspaper The Mooring Mast. My housemate Matt is A&E editor and is a big fan of panoramas I create with shots from my digital camera. It's really fun to have pictures in print and surrounded by articles. I guess it seems to give them a sort of reality that they often don't seem to have on-screen. They also print out really sharply when compared to prints scanned for the publication.
Another major part of my life right now is work which is going rather well. This time of year the Multimedia Lab is bustling with students who want to use our computers to make whatever they have sharper in hopes of enhancing the grades they receive. My student workers and I are primarily web developers but show no reserve when it comes to helping the patrons of the lab. We're lucky right now because a lack of pressing web projects allows us to spend as much time as neccessary to get people up to speed with things like Photoshop and video editing. We do it all!
Here's a shameless plug: since you're reading this and are already at my website, why not take a minute to click on Artwork above and browse through my photos. I'm trying to put more online all the time so you can adorn your desktops with color and texture! Wee!
