Warrior's End - Be in a movie Oct. 14-16

A co-worker of mine has spent nearly every weekend since I began work in August. He's working on a locally made, low-budget film called Warrior's End. The crew has been focusing on creating a quality film set among the beautiful scenery of the great Pacific Northwest. They put up a trailer of their upcoming work today and, I must say, I'm seriously impressed. With a little epic Mars borrowed from Holst the preview displays some of what appears to be their fabulous work. My kudos to their cinematographer because I was struck most by the composition of the shots I saw. I really hope the film turns out great and only shows its low-budget nature in minimal ways so it can go far.

Want to help? They're recruiting extras on their website for their final battle set to film in a little over a week. Sounds like it could be a great time and could be just what's needed to finish off the picture with the epic feel their going for. If our weekend is open Sarah and I (although I haven't mentioned it to Sarah just yet) we may head out for a day to lend our persons/bodies for their battles.

If you're impressed by the trailer as I was and their project please feel free to spread the word via email, message boards or your own blog. Let's do what we can to urge along the artistic process in this great region of the world.
