Dusting off the web cobb webs

Whew! Well, it hasn't been four years since my last entry but, oh, how the time has flown. I tell ya, with three new little ones and the establishment of The Republic of Cascadia, I'm beat! Not too much left to post here at this website.

Riiiiiight. Things are good and although I'm still childless and Washington state is still just that, I'll keep plugging along and posting notes about life. Today was a day like some others with one difference: it was sunny. This weekend's sunshine marks the first in nearly a century for this area sending more people indoors than out due to their lack of fun-under-the-sun experience. I like to think of myself as a versatile man and utilized this time indoo-- hey, wait a minute. I guess I was inside most of the day too but that's only due to my need to finish my senior capstone paper. Yup, it's due this Friday and nope, that doesn't mean I'm graduating. Perma-student I'm not but I will be a senior three years running as of this Fall. Today's other activities ranged from a trip to the culturally exciting Queen Ann Thriftway (neither on Queen Ann hill nor very thrifty), a brief glimpse at the sun with my lady-friend over a glass of cool lime juice and amidst the buzz of the recently liberated bee population, and swung at a few aliens with my light sabre in Jedi Knight II.

"So," you might be wondering, "what else happened while Kevin's website was down?"

For the answer to that, you just have to stay tuned. Ha! Gotcha' hooked, didn't I?
