Morning Winthrop meeting audio and links

The prospect of transforming the Winthrop into a grand hotel and finding replacement housing for current residents is a potential win-win for everyone involved. Developers Tim Quigg and Chester Trabucco have a vision for the space and shared that along with info from others involved at this morning's early meeting. Here's the audio I recorded broken down into bite-sized chunks.

1. Introductions (MP3, 13:27, 6.2MB)
2. Ryan Petty, City of Tacoma (MP3, 1:55, .9MB)
3. Affordable Housing (MP3, 8:24, 3.8MB)
4. Chester Trabucco (MP3, 21:50, 10MB)
5. Brian Fitzgerald, TCF Architecture (MP3, 5:39, 2.6MB)
6. Engineering, PCS Structural (MP3, 4:03, 1.8MB)
7. Tim Quigg (MP3, 3:46, 1.7MB)

Nice work Kevin!

Your getting up before 6:00 a.m. to attend the press conference and still being able to work a camera and digital recorder demonstrates your valor and dedication to Tacoma.

I don't think you have done something so extensive since the public spaces workshop.

Now everyone in Tacoma (and beyond) can get the latest on Winthrop Hotel restoration efforts from the comfort of their computer at their pleasure.
