The house is not yet ours since we've embarked on a real estate journey through a short sale bankruptcy this far there's no sense in turning back now. However, our lender's appraiser saw fit to require us to put in a temporary railing for the stairs leading to the second floor. Not even the inspector demanded as such and we're having the fine folks at Oliver & Blue re-do the stairs after we move in. No matter because, like good little buyers, we saluted, headed to our soon-to-be-neighborhood lumber yard for supplies, and installed the railing.
