Today Honk! Fest West joined in for the famous Fremont Solstice Parade. I rode my bike to Fremont from a parking spot downtown and was able to mostly cruise by vehicle clogged or blocked streets. We waited around then took the parade stroll, playing for huge street-side crowds for over an hour-and-a-half. After that, I met up with Connie and Timmerman's to get some food and drink. We found some relative calm at Odin Brewing for a pint of their fantastic stout and food from the Where Ya At Matt truck parked there. Once back at Gasworks Park, Honk bands played all over as did our own D20 Brass Band.
