Dad's Birthday in Astoria

Today, for my Dad's Birthday, we headed south across the lengthy bridge at the mouth of the Columbia River and into Astoria. My uncle, Dad, Connie and I walked around town running a couple errands but mostly finding food and a tasty beverage or two. We managed to enjoy a beer at Astoria Brewing, albacore tuna fish 'n chips at the Bowpicker, had a Skype chat with my sister Toni in Scotland between spots, then another beer and fantastic food at Buoy Beer. Once home we were all treated to a great BBQ rib dinner and a game of Fill or Bust to wind things down.

Happy Birthday Dad!

I loved these canning trays and their shadows as a back drop -- crazy lines!
