Astoria Market & Ocean Park Beach Time with Parents

Connie and I drove south from Tokeland to meet up with my parents in Ilwaco. We took a stroll along the marina to look at a couple tall ships docked there before hopping in their car to heat further south to Astoria. Today was farmers' market day downtown where we lazily shopped and snacked on popcorn and samples from various stands. We stocked up on a few things for our week away then visited the Fort George brewery for lunch and to stock our stomachs with beer.

Once we finished in town we all headed back across the bridge over the mouth of the mighty Columbia River to pick up our car then head to their place in Ocean Park. Today's stunning weather made a stroll on the beach a pleasant requirement before winding down with a nice dinner, drinks, and conversation at my parents' place.

I always store my boat in the sky for safe keeping
