After our usual weekend breakfast at Geraldine's and a stop at the Orcas School plant sale Connie and I headed out for a ride. Our route took us through a couple parks from Columbia City down to the waterfront road along Lake Washington. We wound on that and up the hill to the lookout over the I-90 tunnel with stunning views of Mt. Baker, Bellevue with the snow-capped North Cascades behind it, the floating bridges themselves, and Mt. Rainier. From there we rode the length of the bridge and back then again along Lake Washington to and through Seward Park. After a brief stop to soak in the sun and scene we headed up the hill for some amazing (and well deserved!) pizza and a pint at Flying Squirrel then back to her place for a relaxing evening of Battlestar.
A 15 mile ride around our beautiful area with a beautiful woman on a beautiful day? Yes please! :)
