Photos ~ First Lunch at Top of Tacoma Cafe
After seeing a post earlier today about the lunchtime opening of the cafe side of Top of Tacoma [ map ] a gaggle of co-workers (a.k.a. local bloggers Cassioposa, Mr. In-Tacoma, Mr. Zastica, and Mr. Izenmania) and I headed up there this noon hour. We were the first customers they had but they were ready to roll. Their two-page menu has plenty to choose from. I went for a panini that combines BBQ sauce, bacon, pepper jack cheese, red and green peppers, and onions. The wife lady choose their three-cheese ravoli. We both really enjoyed our food. The portions are generous and the flavors the same. For both our meals we got out for about $15 with leftovers. I'll let the other guys chime in the comments as to what they had and how they liked it. Overall, I think everyone was happy.
There are a few stools for sitting in the place but the cafe side of things is meant for takeout. There's plenty of room in the adjacent bar so those 21+ can stick around. Thanks to Jamie Kay for the tasty eats and I definitely think they'll do well. Congrats on your first day guys and here's to many more [days]!
